Which official site should you use?#

The product guide and payment service may use different domains, so follow the purchase link from the official guide. Buying a national pass does not mean you can use its purchase number for every reservation on JR East or JR Kyushu websites.

If you have only opened an account, selected a train or reached a payment screen, the task is not yet complete. Keep the final confirmation in your own records and use the correct collection procedure. For a price comparison, return to the cost calculator before paying for a separate ticket.

Is japanrailpass-reservation.net the official JR Pass website?#
Yes. The official national-pass purchase page directs users to JAPAN RAIL PASS Reservation at www.japanrailpass-reservation.net. The information site is japanrailpass.net. Similar-looking retailer names are not evidence that a site is the JR Group service.
Start from the official purchase instructions and follow its reservation link. Check the complete hostname before entering passport or payment details. Use the regional operator’s service for a regional pass; a national-pass account does not merge all JR booking systems.
