Operator and contact
The site operator uses the public pen name Railnote. Send privacy enquiries or requests to delete email correspondence to wowmy85@naver.com.
Page requests and hosting
The site is served by Nginx on a Vultr Ubuntu server, with Cloudflare providing domain DNS, CDN and security services.
Page and file requests may cause the server or CDN to process IP addresses, request times, requested paths and URL query parameters such as search terms, and browser identification information (User-Agent). The operator manages Nginx access and error logs as needed to deliver the service, diagnose faults and respond to security events. Do not enter personal information in search fields.
The site itself has no separate visitor database, registration or payment feature. Google advertising and measurement follow the notice below. Depending on settings and connection conditions, Cloudflare security features may process necessary technical information or cookies. Providers’ separate processing and retention are covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Vultr Privacy Policy.
Settings saved in your browser
Text size and checklist completion are saved in localStorage in your current browser. Text size is shared across languages; checklist settings are stored for each language's page. These features do not collect names, passport numbers or card numbers. You can remove the settings by clearing this site's data in your browser. The site code does not send these settings to the operator.
Search, calculations, copying and printing
Search terms may appear in the q parameter of the page URL and in browser history. Requesting that URL may also send the terms to the server and CDN, where they may appear in access logs. Do not enter personal information in search fields. Search-result filtering and FAQ filtering run on the current page.
The cost calculator processes entered amounts on the current page; the site code does not save them or send them to a server. Link and checklist copy buttons write to your clipboard when you choose to use them. The print button opens your browser's print function. Copying and printing do not send the content to a separate site server or create additional stored records for this site.
Email enquiries
When you email the operator, your sender address and any name, message or attachments you include are delivered through Naver Mail. The operator uses this information to reply, check facts and make related corrections. The privacy terms of your sending email service and Naver also apply to their processing.
Correspondence is managed for replies and necessary follow-up corrections. To request deletion, contact the same address; the operator will check the relevant material and explain what can be done. When a correction is published, the site aims to keep the reporter's email address and sensitive information private. Do not send passport, payment or booking authentication information.

When you follow a rail operator or seller link, that site’s privacy terms apply.
Google advertising, measurement and consent
The site uses Google AdSense. Each Korean and English home and guide page has two manual responsive ads: one near the top and one within the content. On guides, the first is below the title; the second is between complete sections or FAQ groups. Account-enabled Google Auto ads may also show vignette ads between page views, depending on Google’s delivery decisions. To select, deliver and measure ads and prevent invalid activity, Google and advertising partners may process IP addresses, device and browser information, cookies or identifiers.
Google Analytics 4 measures site use such as page views. Page addresses, connection, browser and device information and usage signals may be sent to Google; cookies or identifiers depend on consent and service settings. The site’s Google tag uses a default page address without search-query parameters or URL fragments.
Ad storage, analytics storage, advertising user data and ad personalization start denied by default. Where Google’s consent tool says a purpose applies, your actual choice is used; where it says the purpose does not apply, that result controls analytics behavior. When the footer privacy and cookie settings button is available, it reopens Google’s consent message. In consent mode, limited cookieless measurement signals may still be sent while consent is denied. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google processes data from partner sites for Google’s separate processing.
